Cumin is a bit strong for our taste, it’s not an usual spice in my country, so I used 2/3 caraway 1/3 cumin in the marinade instead. Also used caraway powder in the yogurt sauce, turned out beautifully, very refreshing.

I added to the salad and green onions some cucumbers pickled in salt, no vinegar, cut in fine slices.

All in all, lovely stuff, I can see how this is going to be a regular in my family.

This is a staple in my house and everyone love it. Homemade flat breads (RTE recipe) is an absolute must to accompany this – I can’t go back to store bought now!
